A poem by Jerry Palmer

A poem by Jerry Palmer

I ain’t fold, I just bent,
kept going, energy spent,
took losses, learned what they
meant.

Some nights, I lost my way,
mind racing, couldn’t stay,
still got up anyway.

Overcoming ain’t loud,
stand tall through the crowd,

prove yourself, make you proud.
